I am caring, genuine, friendly and approachable. I aim to support you throughout your counselling journey, and I will laugh and even cry alongside you, as we work together at you own pace.

I qualified in 2018, and during this time have predominantly worked with neurodiversity. I focus on self-identity and and understanding by raising self-awareness and confidence. Using coping mechanisms and distraction techniques, I support  empowerment, personal growth, and well-being.

Mutual trust and respect are the secret to the success of our working relationship. It is essential that you feel ‘at ease’ during our sessions.

Remember that ‘YOU’ are the expert, this is your life, your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and behaviours are all equally VALUED and VALID. I will not advise you, nor will I give you the answers, but I will empower you in the hope that nd together we explore look at coping mechanisms you to come up with your own solutions. 

I love working with children and adults alike and encourage the use of distraction techniques and coping mechanisms during counselling. I adapt my approach accordingly and offer numerous fidget toys, colouring books, games, emotion and affirmation cards, stones, dolls, lego, and weighted blankets during face to face sessions.

Emotionally supporting the whole family network from pre to post diagnosis and beyond, from frustrations and challenges with services, to discrimination, communication and emotional regulation.

I am a fully qualified and accredited counsellor with ‘The National Counselling and Psychotherapist Society MNCPS (Accr.)
